Kathryn J. FraserKathryn J. Fraser was born in Melbourne, Australia and as a toddler immigrated with her family to the United States, eventually settling in Tennessee. She graduated as high school valedictorian from University School of Nashville, cum laude from Dartmouth College and AOA with honors from Dartmouth Medical School. She then lived in Providence, Pittsburgh, Dallas and Minneapolis before finding a home in Albuquerque, where she now resides with her husband and sons.

Currently on the faculty of the University of New Mexico School of Medicine, Kathryn is an Associate Professor of Psychiatry. For over eight years she has been the medical director of the Continuing Care Clinic at the UNM Psychiatric Center where she does patient care, administration and teaching. She has often been on the list of Best Doctors of America.

Kathryn was raised in the Presbyterian Church, but after a long search she joined the Unitarian Universalist Church in 1994. She has always loved books, however it wasn’t until the occurrence of the Iraq War and President Bush’s 2004 re-election that she was inspired to write her own. A Journey, a Reckoning and a Miracle is her first novel.
